UNIT 3: FRACTIONS & DECIMALS
In this three week unit, we will be reviewing fraction to decimal conversions, equivalent fractions, ratios, simplifying fractions, comparing and ordering fractions, decimals and mixed numbers, converting improper fractions to mixed numbers and mixed numbers to improper fractions. We will be computing with fractions at various levels. Instruction will be differentiated to allow students to work at their comfort level!
Our related skills section will be focused on decimal computation -- especially addition, subtraction and multiplication. Students who are ready will also include decimal division in their studies. (This skills section will continue into 2006.)

This is an issue for some of you and one you should NOT LET SLIDE! Please come for help if you need it, complete your homework every night and talk to your parents about what you're doing in school!
